Lunaia

Although the name of this planet makes it sound like they are on the moon of a planet instead of an actual planet, that is not true. This planet has one sun, and three moons, thus the name being based on the Latin word of "moon," Luna. This has nothing to do with the humans and demons that live in a peaceful, coexisting nature.

This peace has lasted for tens of thousands of years, with very little outbursts against it...Until in the past two hundred years, where a demon rose and took control of the land. In this world, there are no such things as angels, only demons, and humans. There is another breed of creatures besides animals on this world, and they are very few in quantity, however they have strange abilities, and as of the past two hundred years, have been considered vigilantes for the humans, and killers of those demons who kill and torture humans for fun. This breed of creatures are known as; Monaians, based on the English word for moon. The sun is their god, the moon their goddess, in their religion.

This planet is highly evolved, in their technological department, having had about one hundred thousand years of humans and demons coexisting and creating technology. This planet is many billions of years old, it simply has had human life on it for a hundred thousand years, compared to Earth's ten thousand years or less.

Despite having all this technology at the tip of their fingers, many of the humans and demons prefer to use magic instead of the technology that their world's most brilliant minds have come up with. And so, the war began, as most humans preferred technology and most demons preffered magic. Through this war, two leaders saw their chance to rise into power, one a human maiden, and the other a demon knight. Through this battle, which lasted around ten years, the human maiden eventually fell from power, and was killed, at age thirty. The demon knight who then rose to power, was then crowned the king of the entire world, Tiamos, his right hand man named Tchein, and the leader of his army, Tcheyfule, two other demons, who were much like Earth's vampires, not able to be out in the day time, and drank blood of humans and other demons. They ruled the planet for the next two hundred years.

The few Monaians that were still alive went into hiding as regular humans. They are only known by other humans, and demons, as humans, and work in the night time as vigilantes that try to free the world from the rule of the demons.

And so comes into play the story of Aiika Namia.
